You are a perfect fit for this position if you are:

  • A Registered Dietitian with the College of Alberta and/or British Columbia with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dietitian.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Counselling clients weekly or biweekly, depending on the package purchased by the respective client.

  • Rescheduling clients after each session and scheduling body composition tests in the Lead Dietitian’s schedule.

  • Sending receipts after sessions as requested by the client.

  • Communicating via chat function in the EMR with clients as needed in between sessions.

  • Creating nutrition treatment plans for clients to address medical, nutritional, and

  • emotional needs through a nutrition assessment.

  • Collaborating with clients to create realistic goals and helping clients achieve their goals.

  • Creating nutrition resources to assist in client education and behaviour change.

  • Reviewing food records, client forms, body composition tests, supplements, medications, and blood work as needed.

  • Collaborating with other health care professionals including but not limited to psychologists, physiotherapists or doctors, regarding client medical concerns and treatment as needed. 

  • Maintaining client care records and making reports.

  • Supporting the Lead Dietitian with additional tasks including: 

    • Researching for blogs 

    • Creating handouts 

    • Developing a social media presence on Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, MailerLite, and Google My Business.

  • Writing and presenting summaries from nutrition podcasts, books, or research articles and coming up with at least one application for the Edge Nutrition coaching program or methods once per month.


Wage & Benefits:

  • 4-day work week, 3-day weekends, every week!

  • Flexible hours and schedule starting at 16-32 hours per week.

  • Wage:

    • $40-55 per client hour (majority of the role).

    • $25-35 per administrative hour (a small part of the role).

  • While we are located in Grande Prairie, Alberta and in-person is preferred, this position could also be remote for the right candidate.
